🥧 Mini Beef Meat Pies

🛒 Ingredients

  • 🥩 500g ground beef
  • 🧅 1 onion, diced
  • 🥕 1 carrot, diced
  • 🧄 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 🍅 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 🥣 1 cup beef stock
  • 🌿 1 tsp thyme
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper
  • 🥄 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 🥧 2 sheets shortcrust pastry
  • 🥚 1 egg (for egg wash)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 🔥 Cook 🧅🥕🧄 until soft.
  2. ➕ Add 🥩 and brown well.
  3. 🍅 Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt & pepper.
  4. 🥣 Pour in beef stock and simmer 10–15 mins until thick. Let cool.
  5. 🥧 Line a muffin tin with pastry circles.
  6. 🥄 Fill each with the beef mixture.
  7. 🥧 Add pastry lids, seal edges, and make a small steam hole.
  8. 🥚 Brush with beaten egg.
  9. 🔥 Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 mins until golden.
