🥧 Mini Beef Meat Pies
🛒 Ingredients
- 🥩 500g ground beef
- 🧅 1 onion, diced
- 🥕 1 carrot, diced
- 🧄 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 🍅 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 🥣 1 cup beef stock
- 🌿 1 tsp thyme
- 🧂 Salt & pepper
- 🥄 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 🥧 2 sheets shortcrust pastry
- 🥚 1 egg (for egg wash)
👩🍳 Instructions
- 🔥 Cook 🧅🥕🧄 until soft.
- ➕ Add 🥩 and brown well.
- 🍅 Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt & pepper.
- 🥣 Pour in beef stock and simmer 10–15 mins until thick. Let cool.
- 🥧 Line a muffin tin with pastry circles.
- 🥄 Fill each with the beef mixture.
- 🥧 Add pastry lids, seal edges, and make a small steam hole.
- 🥚 Brush with beaten egg.
- 🔥 Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 mins until golden.
